Apex Legends Monster Energy promo code issue acknowledged, fix to arrive with next patch

Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, Apex Legends is a multiplayer battle royale game released in 2019.

Set in the Titanfall universe, the game is built on Unreal Engine 4. Initially, it was released on PC, Xbox, and the PlayStation 4, while the Switch version came out in March this year.

Like all other games published by EA, Apex Legends is also infested by several bugs. With Season 10 already midway, players complained that they cannot see the legend select screen while others were frustrated about the broken Ranked Arena Matchmaking.

Having said that, Apex Legends players are reporting an issue with the Monster Energy promo code not working. According to reports, players are unable to redeem their promotional code even if they follow the instructions.

If you are unaware, buying Monster Energy Drink cans and uploading the receipts will allow you to collect a plethora of cosmetic rewards that include a holo-spray and a badge. Other rewards include the rare skins for the Volt SMG, Wraith, and Octane.

If you want to grab all the items, you will have to buy 50 cans. However, people who buy 60 cans will be able to collect two more battle pass levels.

has anyone had an issue with this promo where they just arent receiving their codes? after 2 days one of my receipts has finally been approved, and now it just…won’t give me a code

Hey @MonsterEnergy how come when I bought a 12 pack of monster and uploaded the receipt for the apex legends promo it only counted as 1 can? Shouldn’t it count as 12??

Players are suggesting that the code does not work on Steam. However, the code seems to be working just fine on the Origin version of the game.

Fortunately, EA and Respawn Entertainment have acknowledged the Apex Legends Monster Energy promo code issue and said a fix is underway.

The developers said the issue will be fixed in the coming September 14 patch.

We will update this space when EA fixes the Monster promo code bug so make sure to keep an eye out!
