Google Pixel 2 issue with call volume adjustment in speakerphone mode is fixed
Google has fixed a comparatively lesser known issue plaguing its Pixel 2 flagship series of smartphones. The problem in question basically prevented users from adjusting volume (through the physical volume rocker or the on-screen volume slider UI) during calls with their unit in speakerphone mode.

The problem was marked as fixed by the Mountain View, California-based company late last week. The search giant also confirmed the fix will arrive as part of a future update.

While an exact date or timeframe wasn’t mentioned, we’re expecting the company will bundle the fix in the December security update. And if that’s the case, there’s still a wait of around a couple of weeks for the problem to get fixed for everyone.
